Heliaeschna trinervulata is a species of dragonfly in family Aeshnidae. It is found in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and possibly Nigeria. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
